In World War II, many people needed help to avoid capture and imprisonment by the Nazis. This book tells the story of the people who helped the Frank family, a Jewish family living in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. It took great courage to help out their friends, because those who helped risked terrible punishment, or even their lives.
