Travel team: high heat

A new pitcher has joined the team. Rumors fly that his dad made him have elective elbow reconstruction surgery (known as Tommy John surgery in baseball) two years earlier. When a teammate ends up with a concussion after getting hit with a fastball in practice, the new guy is persona-non-grata in the clubhouse, but when the team goes deep into extra innings in a championship and there’s nobody left in the bull pen, the coaches only have one choice.
