The big little book of happy sadness

George lives alone with his grandmother. One day on his way home from school, George visits the animal shelter. There, in the very last cage, is Jeremy, a dog who looks as lost and as lonely as George. When Jeremy goes home to live with George and his grandmother, both their lives change.
